CMP brass indoor and outdoor glands are most commonly used with Steel Wire Armoured cable (SWA).
Each cable gland provides mechanical cable retention and electrical continuity via armour wire termination.
All CMP cable glands conform to EN50262:1999 and BS6121:Part 1:1989
The brass grade for all glands is CuZn39Pb3 (CW614N) to EN12168
Each CMP gland kit contains:
2 – Brass Glands
2 – PVC Shrouds
2 – Lock nuts
2 – Brass earth tags
BW40 and above are single kits
